The Position

This is a full time (4 day / week) position. Working hours are flexible with the current shifts being 8am – 6pm and shared weekends. The position currently involves equal amounts of referral emergency (primary accession) and in-hospital critical care cases. There is an intention to transition to a primary critical care focus.

Join our dynamic Payroll team as a permanent, full time Payroll Specialist. This is a hybrid opportunity, working 2 days a week at Sydney Olympic Park and the rest from home. Be responsible for accurate and efficient processing of payroll, including timesheets, leave, termination calculations, superannuation and other payroll calculations in addition to being the go-to person for payroll queries.

Your responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

• Ensuring timely processing of payroll and relevant entitlements for NRMA Group of businesses.
• Keeping accurate records and maintaining appropriate compliance procedures for easy reconciliation.

We are growing our team to support our Metal Coating Line project, increasing our existing paint line operations at the WSSC site, located in Erskine Park, NSW. This development will provide up to 240,000 tonnes of additional capacity to feed COLORBOND®, ZINCALUME® and TRUECORE® steel products, used for roofs, house frames and fencing.

Contributing to the safety, quality and the reliability of our equipment, you’ll perform a variety of Operator tasks throughout shift, including operating machinery, equipment troubleshooting, plant setups and isolations. Working in a supportive team environment, you’ll ensure the continuous production activities on our paint line, whilst providing technical guidance and support on equipment. This position operates on a desirable rotating 12-hour shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts.

Here’s the high-level…

Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Leader, this position will have two main purposes: 1) Enable the fast growth across Aegros Engineering with the plans to grow 100+ more Aegrosians (employees) in the next 12 months to work on our pipeline of projects 2) Support the establishment and delivery of our Talent strategy and evolution of our philosophy, approaches, processes, practices

Some of the key areas of focus…and the why.

• Support our ‘scale-up’ particularly around talent planning, acquisition, and onboarding of engineers. Participate in the talent strategy and delivery.

• Get involved outside of the traditional TA space, by co-leading the creation of our strategies and execution around across the HR ecosystem including total rewards, talent management, learning & development.

• Support our social media and digital talent strategies in partnership with our Communications leader.
• Support the HR digital and automation strategy including the implementation and/or optimisation of HR technologies
• With the opportunity to start with the end in mind, help lead the evolution of our processes including how and where we automate and digitise.
• Some of our talent needs are very niche so searching globally isn’t uncommon, that said support and lead the delivery of our global mobility policy development and processes.
• With our first facility going live to commercial in the coming months, partner with the business in creating and delivery of resource management including agile resource allocation, workforce planning and flexible resourcing.

What I’m looking for…

• Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, or related discipline.
• 5+ years in the Talent Acquisition field (either internal or external) recruiting construction/engineer roles
• Experience with permanent and contract hiring highly desirable

• Demonstrated track record in sourcing, assessing and securing top talent in the engineering/construction space
• Talent mapping and pipeline building
• A growth mindset with a track record of creating and adopting innovative programs and practices
• High business acumen through demonstrated experience in supporting the creation of business strategy and identifying organisational and talent implications
• Demonstrated coaching and influencing skills with leaders to drive optimal outcomes
• Proven track record in building strong relationship and trust with business leaders to achieve status of trusted advisor
• Proven ability to diagnose problems and drive effective countermeasures
• Ability to deal effectively with ambiguity and identify systemic approaches to problem solving in a continuously changing environment

Catholic Healthcare is a leading Aged Care provider that is experiencing significant growth and has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced professional to join our Property Team as a Property Acquisition & Disposals Manager.

In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Chief Property Officer, and will be fully responsible for managing the acquisition and disposal of properties in our vast aged care portfolio.

The key focus will be in the implementation of strategic plans for property acquisition and disposal.  You will need to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to ensure all opportunities are aligned with the overall organisational goals and that all transactions comply with relevant regulations and are managed within pre-determined budgets.

The ideal applicant will need to be a strategic thinker that can build strong relationships to ensure successful implementation. You must also have excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively and effectively across cross-functional teams and with other internal and external stakeholders.

Additionally you will require:

• Minimum 10+ years demonstrated relevant experience
• Strong understanding of property law, aged care regulations, compliance and quality standards
• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Property Development, Property Valuation business, or a related field. Eg Business. Masters degree or relevant certification preferred
• Knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
• Must be able to provide evidence or Covid19 Immunisations

This role is  a 2-year maximum term contract however as a growing organisation there may be other opportunities in the future with Catholic Healthcare.
