The Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Histology Manager. • Supporting recruitment and ensure induction and training to new starters is carried out 
• Assisting the store manager to identify future talents and putting together development plans to support their progression 
• Overseeing store operations  
• Being a COS brand ambassador and providing the best experience for our customers. 
• Stepping into the role of Store Manager in their absence 

SGS is seeking an Assistant Laboratory Manger to help complete the team in Kathleen Valley. This is a FIFO position out of Perth.  The roster is 8 day/night on 6 days off. 

Responsibilities include however, not limited to:

• Liaise with clients on a day to day basis and organise work priorities to meet the client's needs.
• Assist in maintaining all site manuals.
• Perform the Laboratory Manager’s duties in their absence.
• Supervise Laboratory personnel (up to 10 people). Including staff training.
• Ability to produce high quality accurate results.
• Issue completed and confirmed reports.
• Maintain and improve own knowledge to contribute towards progression of the laboratory.
• Work in and maintain a safe work environment.
