Develop maintenance plans and schedules to prevent system downtime and improve operational efficiency. Research & Development (R&D) for Compliance Participate in R&D initiatives aimed at developing and improving products to ensure compliance with AS3500.1:2003 and other regulatory standards. Work closely with the engineering team to ensure new product designs are compliant with relevant codes and regulations. Test and evaluate new technologies and materials to enhance product performance and compliance. Quality Assurance & Certification Assist with obtaining AS1546.1 certification for products, ensuring all quality and safety standards are met. Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to integrate relevant codes and standards into the product testing and approval processes. Prepare and maintain documentation required for certification and compliance reporting. Parts & Product QA Manage the QA process for both individual parts and complete products, ensuring that they meet performance, safety, and compliance standards. Conduct thorough inspections and testing of parts to identify defects or non-conformance with specifications. Develop and implement QA protocols to maintain high standards in both production and field installations. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure that all incoming parts meet company and industry standards before use in production. Contributing to the safety, quality and the reliability of our equipment, you’ll perform a variety of Operator tasks throughout shift, including operating machinery, equipment troubleshooting, plant setups and isolations. This position operates on a desirable rotating 12-hour shift pattern, covering both day and night shifts.

• Educating and converting training organisations and their attendees onto Bosch products and solutions

We are looking for a motivated graduate with a keen eye for detail and desire to learn and grow within Bosch Rexroth. In this role you will be providing support to the National Supply Chain Manger on all topics related to inventory holding, forecasting, demand planning and MRP calculation. You will also be developing and generating required reports for the Purchasing and Logistics departments as well as providing support to other stakeholders within the business.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Engage in supplier management - development and negotiation
• Achieve cost savings and efficiency gains through your work
• Provide support for commercial supply chain contracts, such as supplier contracts, customer contracts, NDA and Terms and Conditions
• Procurement of goods / service in support of Production, Service and Engineering departments    
• Obtain and assess quotes consistent with Company's approved supplier list 
• Expedite deliveries to meet manufacturing / service / customer deadlines     
• Data Integrity Project – Maintain data accuracy with purchasing info records / pricing etc – Update and Validate data in SAP
• Participate in meetings with Sales / Service teams to review detailed forecasts for focus customers     
• Generation of Daily/Weekly/Monthly/Quarterly reporting in SAP for KPI     
• Co-ordination of detective control reports for Purchasing and Logistics departments on Quarterly Basis

• Identify suppliers, benchmark prices, specifications, terms, and delivery dates to determine the best option for the business. 
• Respond to internal and supplier inquiries, reviewing metrics, roadmaps, project plans, management reports, contracts, approve appropriate requisitions. 
• Establish appropriate supplier performance; calculate the total cost of ownership. 
• Establish procurement strategies for acquisition, receiving and tracking of project materials that optimise quality, cost, and timely delivery criteria.
• Coordinate supplier selection, credit and terms, track supplier performance standards, and conduct ongoing evaluation.
• Conduct research via the Internet, catalogues, trade publications, and trade shows to identify potential suppliers. Interview prospective suppliers either face-to-face or over the phone to determine prices, discounts, terms, etc.  Detail the comparisons of the vendor offerings for prospective suppliers to support management decisions.
• Prepare, maintain and review purchasing files and records, price lists, the status of contracts, locate suppliers, monitor subcontractor performance, calculate the cost of orders.
• Prepare procurement plans and ensure the plan is implemented throughout the materials, engineering, and warehouse teams including planning, purchasing, expediting, shipping, receipt and inspections, integration, and logistics.
• Develop plans for the effective organisation and temporary storage of project materials and general inventories at various company and/or independent warehouse locations.
• Optimise the material and supplier portfolio – that is what materials should be bought in bulk and consumed as needed, and which materials are best to acquire for specific projects. Establish stocking criteria for partners as well as their replenishment levels.
• Prepare and communicate to the Sales, Sales Operations, Product Development, Product Marketing, and Product Management teams’ product directions, availability, lead times, model transitions, and cost roadmaps for key materials.
• Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures of Sika Australia like Authority Limit Policy and Purchasing Policy and to lead all cost reduction efforts.

Establish the methodology for inventory quantities/buffer stocks for commonly used items to ensure they are sufficient for the needs of the company and adjusts as needed.

• Customer In Store Marketing Support – In line with the Product Marketing Manager and Marketing manager, identify, design and manage supply of any In store POS, Sampling in line with the Corporate requirements and technical attributes of the product
• Explore, create and design ways for us to reward customer loyalty across target markets of Industry, Concrete, Sealing and Bonding, Flooring, Refurbishment, Building Finishing, Waterproofing and Roofing.
• Support customer activities relating to trade shows designed to promote Sika products to key buying groups.
• Design, Support and drive ways to share Product Knowledge with our Distribution network specifically across our professional network.
• Ensure consistent and relevant communication to our distribution network.
• Support the product release process to ensure that all stakeholders are effectively communicated to externally to ensure a successful implementation of new products or product optimisations. 
• Ensure the Sika Marketing Service in relation to Trade Show and Conferencing is set up to be primarily proactive.  Work with the sales and marketing co-ordinator to establish a clear budget and schedule of sales support items available to service sales driven activities.
• Foster strong relationships with internal cross-functional teams and any external suppliers, associations and industry bodies.
• Maintain regular communication with the Marketing Manager, Distribution Team, Sales Managers and key Sales people to actively seek opportunities to understand and build knowledge of the market and our competitors; and ensure all marketing activity is relevant and supported.
• Lead and execute any artwork requirements relating to Distribution Projects as required.
• Liaise and attend meetings and other company functions as necessary that helps in the performance of your duties and aid business and organisational development.
• Submission of Budget proposal and project scopes for approval and tracking committed and invoiced spend.
• Delegate and influence team in marketing and the broader business as required.
• Assist the Marketing Manager with Marketing Projects and tasks as required.
