The Opportunity
We are seeking a passionate and proactive Payroll Officer to join our People & Capability team. This role calls for someone with energy in spades, a positive disposition and a tendency to have fun at work. As the Payroll Officer, you will be responsible for managing end to end payroll functions with the support of your team, as well as all the other fun tasks associated with payroll.
A day on the job will see you:
- Calculating and coding employee timesheets against relevant industrial agreements.
- Reviewing and processing employee reimbursements
- Entering of New Employees to the Payroll system
- Processing Terminations
- Maintaining Employee records
- Attending to employee queries relating to payroll and/or employment conditions.
- Attending to payroll calculations which may include but not limited to pay and leave entitlement accruals.
- Provide both regular and ad-hoc reporting as required to the wider business.
- Preparation and payment of fortnightly superannuation
