Your new company The Contract Management Section is a multidisciplinary team responsible for delivering ICT commercial and financial management services within the division and portfolio agencies. Their mission is to enable the Department to achieve its business objectives and program outcomes. The team focusses on driving IT financial sustainability practices, implementing process improvements, and managing commercial risks to maximise return on investments. Your new role
As an APS6 ICT Contract Management Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring effective contract and vendor management activities related to professional services, labour hire, hardware, software, and sourcing.
Key Responsibilities
As an APS6 ICT Contract Management Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
Concurrent Contract Management: Execute contract and vendor management activities for ICT-related services, adhering to the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
Timely Advice: Provide accurate and timely advice on ICT contract matters, aligning with relevant legislation and the CPRs.
Document Preparation: Draft a wide range of contract-related documents, including corporate documentation, department briefs, contracts, variations, and procurement-related materials.
Reference Materials: Develop reference materials such as templates, intranet pages, and guidelines.
Monitoring and Records: Assist in monitoring contract activities and maintaining records in the SAP Finance system and Electronic Document Management System (TRIM).
Contractual Obligations: Oversee and measure the fulfilment of contractual obligations.
Performance Monitoring: Use key performance indicators to monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and address underperformance or compliance failures.
Change Management: Contribute to external and internal change management processes related to service improvement.
Dynamic Environment: Work in a dynamic environment, meeting deadlines and driving process improvements.
