Role

Account Managers at First Focus combine their deep technical understanding with a desire to provide genuine customer service and deliver sales consulting. It's a perfect role for anyone looking for variety, challenges and career progression as you will be working with multiple potential clients to develop opportunities from warm lead to supported solution.

Our Account managers work together with technical delivery and IT support teams so there's no shortage of technical backing when you need it.

This role would perfectly suit someone who is currently an experienced UCaaS Account Manager (obviously) or an experienced UCaaS pre-sales professional looking for their next step,

The perfect candidate for this role will join a team of highly specialised consultants and technical experts. To suit this role, you will have substantial experience working with a range client scales (sub 50 up to 1000 seats) and possess technical and business competence across a broad range of technologies within the IT infrastructure domain.

If you are at the top of your game in a UCaaS specialist provider, an MSP, MSSP or integrator and are looking for the next big step, this could be it. Rather than give you a long list of wants, we'll keep this brief. The following four things are non-negotiables:

1. You must have history and demonstrable competence in delivering outstanding pre-sales, sales and/or technical advice within another UCaaS specialist organisation, MSP, MSSP, integrator or other service providing IT business
2. You must be able to demonstrate success developing UCaaS opportunities within small to mid-scale clients across a range of industries and market verticals, ideally demonstrating experience in Zoom, Teams, 3CX or Mitel cloud-based solutions

About the role:

Reporting to the National Business Manager, you will be responsible for driving growth in selected Multi Million $ categories across Drakes, Foodland & Metcash SA. You will assist in implementing Joint Business Plans (JBPs), promotional programs, range reviews, distribution, and display strategies through alignment with our partners. This effort will be supported by our dedicated independent field team, covering over 900 of the top stores.

Do you have?

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an account or client management role 
• Proven experience managing relationships and overcoming conflict situations
• High level of written and oral communication skills
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to turn data into impactful category insights, trending and recommendations that promote excellence for our Client
• Intermediate Excel & Powerpoint skills
• Experience in taking and delivering the brief from the client stakeholders to a national field team
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects
• The ability to be flexible and able to adapt to the changing retail environment
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with the ability to clearly explain rationale and recommendations 
• An inquisitive mind with the ability to challenge assumptions and think outside the box with reporting processes and outcomes 
• The ability to work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders
• Experience in actively participating in strategic planning sessions and post activity reviews to ensure delivery of ROI

The successful candidate will proactively manage and oversee all aspects of TCCD's account in South Australia, including but not limited to set up, briefing and execution of merchandising activities, management and direction of merchandisers, budget management, primary liaison with the Operations team as well as day-to-day account management, strategic input and retail insights, to achieve and exceed client and program objectives.
