The opportunity We are looking for a talented individual to join our compliance team in QBE AUSPAC in a role of Compliance Manager to provide strategic compliance support to our business. Reporting to the General Manager of Technical Compliance, you will be an integral part of the compliance team, influencing the compliance culture at QBE by working directly with the first line of defence. You will work closely with senior stakeholders to advise them on their compliance obligations, whilst managing compliance activities. Other responsibilities include: Develop, implement and maintain an Obligations Register that is designed to meet QBE's needs Plan and manage the implementation of relevant compliance policies and procedures Develop and implement effective education, training and awareness program for compliance Ensure that the business complies with management directives, compliance and governance requirements across QBE's internal rules, guidelines and policies Drive and monitor compliance across statutory and regulatory requirements Provide timely compliance advice and solutions to the business on statutory and regulatory requirements Promote a compliant and customer focused culture Your story so far Your story will include people leadership capabilities, strong interpersonal skills in establishing relationships with senior stakeholders, as well as effective time management to meet deadlines. In addition, you will have strong influencing skills, a passion for implementing and maintaining obligations, a strong regulatory understanding, with the ability to form insights, with at least 4 years' experience in a compliance or risk management role, managing obligations within the financial services or insurance industry.
