Primary Details Time Type: Full time Worker Type: Employee Location: Open and flexible Type: Permanent, full time position The opportunity A unique opportunity has arisen for a well experienced insurance professional to join QBE Insurance in the role of Actuarial Senior Manager, Reserving Platform and Process Optimisation . In this role you will be responsibility for ensuring the performance, sustainability and effectiveness of AUSPAC's reserving platform, and will support the Chief Reserving Actuary to develop and execute a range of initiatives to enhance Actuarial team capability and performance. On a regular basis, this role will require you to: Liaise with Heads of reserving to design the end to end reserving process, and vision for the reserving platform and Actuarial team capability Aligned to the longer term vision for the reserving platform, develop and prioritise a list of enhancements, and lead delivery of these Day to day lead the platform vendor relationship, supporting the Chief Reserving Actuary to manage the overall relationship and ensure high quality services are delivered Lead a team to support ongoing platform performance, liaising with the software vendor, QBE IT and reserving teams to ensure smooth operation of the software Support the Chief Reserving Actuary in developing and delivering data and process optimisation initiatives spanning the AUSPAC Actuarial Team Liaise with Strategic Finance to develop a list of continuous improvement initiatives, and oversea delivery of these initiatives About you Proven ability and drive to lead and implement change initiatives within an organization. Demonstrated experience engaging effectively with team members at all levels. Strong technical skills with a background in one or more of Actuarial, Analytics or Data, with a preference for general insurance reserving experience Demonstrated capability to develop and deliver projects or programs of work Ability to present effectively and strong relationship-building skills.
