This role will provide analytical and technical support for senior team members and the Thought Leadership team within the global Marketing and Communications organization. A data analyst will be in support of developing in depth, predictive thought leadership content that will be utilized in white papers, C-suite T2T presentations, industry events and content. The role will be operating with an analytical focus that requires category or CPS knowledge. The analyst will bring best in class analysis of trends, insights to be able to arm the economist and content team with actionable insights, predictive statements delivered through data stories that have relevance and impact for clients and our industries. Position Purpose

Key Responsibilities and Duties

Act as front and face for the Nielsen operations team, both internally towards our Client Services team as directly at client site for priority clients:

• Capture client requirements around database setup and adaptations, interpreting the client need and working with different stakeholders to provide the best solution
• Manages communication with client and client services team around the impact of changes to client deliverables
• Communicate operational improvement initiatives in a clear and understandable manner both to internal stakeholders as to your selected clients

• Develop and manage relationships across senior members across senior members of Nielsen and the Major Manufacturing clients:
• Category expertise; Learn and understand the Clients products and categories, propose and align their data standards.
• Engage with the quality lead to apply process improvement learnings within your way of working and ensure clients quality issues are addressed

Purpose:
The role of Consumer Panel Service (CPS) Australia's Omni Panel Lead is crucial in driving revenue growth through strategic client acquisition. Positioned as one of CPS largest investments globally for NIQ, the Omni Shopper Panel Lead will spearhead efforts to overcome these challenges by developing and executing a robust commercial strategy and Go-to-Market (GTM) approach. This includes setting and achieving weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual goals outlined in the Operating Plan (OP). Additionally, the role involves defining and refining the proposition for the Omni Shopper Panel, and guiding product development based on consumer feedback, while identifying new opportunities to enhance market penetration.  

Over time, this role is expected to develop a comprehensive understanding of the features, benefits, and value proposition of the Omni Shopper Panel product in Australia market. This includes identifying and addressing client unmet needs and pain points that can be effectively addressed by Omni Shopper Panel. And ultimately, act as trusted advisor for wider commercial team, offering expertise, product knowledge and support throughout sales process. 

Reporting to the Australia FMCG Sales Lead with matrix reporting to the Asia Pacific (APAC) CPS Commercial Lead. This role will collaborate extensively with the Australia commercial team consist of Account Development, Customer Success, and Marketing Team; and cross-functional CPS teams such as but not limited to Product, Operations, and Technology. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive collaboration across diverse teams to achieve shared objectives and propel Australia's Omni Shopper Panel forward. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Management  

  • Take ownership of achieving the Operating Plan (OP) targets for Australia Omni Panel Shopping which including proactively identify revenue gaps and devise plans for closing the gap - ensuring achievement of OP is always top of mind.  

  • Coordinate the annual OP setting with targets that are both realistic and ambitious. Ensure accurate forecasting of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual OP, in collaboration AD Team.   

  • Take the lead in orchestrating and delivering sales presentation, including managing major RMS & CPS competitive pitches where the Omni Shopper Panel can provide differentiation. This involves leading sales pitches and delivering proposal presentations. 

• Commercial Strategy & Go to Market  

  • Lead the development, refinement, and execution of the commercial strategy for the Omni Shopper Panel in Australia, including develop and implement sales plans, focusing on client acquisition.  

  • Devise and implement strategies focused on client acquisition - actively identify new clients to target and outlining actions required to acquire the client. Work closely and influence others to secure support and investment as required aim for the client acquisition. 

  • In collaboration with Cluster Lead and FMCG Sales Lead, encouraging and empowering local ADs to sell Omni Shopper Panel.  Act as advisor, offering expertise, product knowledge and support throughout sales process.  

• Product & Service Development 

  • Define and refine the positioning of the Omni Shopper Panel in the market, ensuring clear articulation of its overall benefits alongside the core household panel and in comparison, to competitors. This involves creating clarity in rate-card structures and developing compelling sales materials that highlight the unique advantages of the Omni Shopper Panel. 

  • Champion NIQ CPS Omni Shopper Panel product and service to both internal and external clients; ensuring they are informed about the latest developments in the Omni Shopper Panel.  

  • Serve as the primary liaison, representing the voice of consumers in Australia regarding the development of Omni Shopper Panel products and services to ensure alignment between client needs and the product development. 

  • Conduct thorough analysis to identify opportunities for new product developments within the Omni Shopper Panel, such as innovative panel surveys and analytics. Explore new industries or categories where Omni Shopper panel can be offered.

• Support the success of marketing sponsored in-person and virtual events; including pre-event promotion to drive attendance and post-event follow up to engage and qualify prospects for sales
• Maintain accurate CRM records of all lead and prospecting activities by consistently adhering to defined lead management processes and SLAs
• Build relationships with aligned sales team members to nurture leads through opportunity and ensure lead quality is driving conversion to pipeline and revenue
• Develop and methodically drive execution of daily, weekly, and monthly activity cadence plans that maximize prospecting efficiency and effectiveness including; account and contact-level research, pre-call planning, and hyper-personalized messaging via key channels
• Meet and exceed key activity and performance metrics for calls, emails, social touches, appointments scheduled, conversion to opportunity, and beyond
