This role requires an eye for how artworks and historical items can be assembled and displayed to create meaning for a community.

Collaborate with visual artists and community groups, to hone your skills and support innovative exhibitions, public programs, and other related arts events.

What you’ll be doing:

• Provide technical support in the installation and deinstallation of the annual exhibition program at Hume’s three gallery venues (Craigieburn, Broadmeadows and Sunbury) as well as other temporary displays across Hume as required.
• Support community members and project partners in Hume the implementation of community-based arts and cultural development projects, including the outcomes of Arts Grants.
• Realise the Hume Social Justice Charter through arts and cultural development programs.
• Support the promotion of arts and cultural development opportunities to the Hume community.
• Work under the direction of the Curator and other arts and culture team members, to facilitate the development of arts and cultural activity across Hume.
• Represent Hume City Council within arts and culture networks as directed.
• Ensure adequate consultation and engagement with key stakeholders to foster arts and cultural development opportunities within Hume.
• Undertake day to day administration including maintenance of databases, filing, undertaking correspondence, customer service and attending internal and external meetings.

An exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, hands on Sample Receipt Officer has become available at SGS, in our Alexandria, NSW laboratory.  As a member of the team you will assist management in maintaining SGS’s capability to analyse soil, water and air samples. In particular, to provide support to the Sample Log-in operations and ensure timely services are provided.

Your key responsibilities in this role will include but are not limited to:

• Sorting samples upon arrival and ensure samples are identified, labelled, temperature is taken and stored correctly.
• Pre registration and/or full registration in SLIM.
• Providing assistance/support to the team by login in and/or cross-checking entries.
• Liaise with clients to ensure satisfactory customer focussed services are provided.
• Upon arrival, ensure all sample containers are cleaned and housekeeping is well maintained to prevent contaminations during log-in and sub-sampling process.

This role is integral to the efficient operation of the ALDI Payroll department, reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, this role will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of payroll for employees working in stores and warehouses nationally. We are looking for an experienced, proactive and motivated payroll professional to join our dynamic, fast-paced team. 

What does the role look like?  

• Day to day execution of a fortnightly payroll for 1700+ employees 
• Calculation and processing of payroll related payments for PAYG tax, authorised payroll deductions, superannuation, parental leave, GPPL, Long Service Leave and manual payments 
• Set up of new starters, maintain employee records, processing contract changes and calculation of terminations  
• Respond to and resolve payroll enquiries in an accurate and customer centric manner with internal stakeholder at various levels 
• Provide advice regarding NES, Fair Work, and any other relevant payroll legislation (including ALDI internal policies and enterprise agreements) 
• Administer the payroll inbox and action all requests and queries or escalate accordingly

About the Refugee Health Program

The Refugee Health Program supports people who are newly arrived refugees, refugees who have ‘fallen through the health care gap”, asylum seekers, and people from a “refugee-like” background who arrive on different visa types (e.g. student, spousal etc).  It comprises of a multidisciplinary team made up of General Practitioners, a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Nurses, and Bicultural Workers. The purpose of the team is to ensure people from refugee and asylum-seeking backgrounds are comprehensively assessed on arrival and a plan of care is developed to optimise their health and quality of life. This service helps to support people to navigate the health system and to work with providers across this system to achieve optimal health outcomes. We aim to deliver coordinated, person-centred, effective, and appropriate care to clients from a refugee and asylum-seeking background.

Position Overview

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients. Working in close collaboration with our team of Refugee Health GP’s, Nurse Practitioner, Refugee Health Nurses and Bicultural workers, you will provide comprehensive administrative support which will contribute to the smooth running of the program. This will include (but is not limited to) scheduling of appointments, booking interpreter services, supporting internal and external referrals to services, and supporting the team with general administration.

• General Administration: Provide broad administrative support to Clinical and Complex Care Services teams and programs.
