What you will do:

Reporting to the General Manager, you will work with all departments, to enhance our guest experience, conference and events segment. You will have a passion for bringing exceptional experience to life and will filter this to all guests through leading and coordinating conferences and events at the resort. The role assists in securing the business, plans the meeting/event, co-ordinates with hotel operations and clients before, during and after each meeting/event.

You will coordinate and contribute to the successful sales and delivery of the leisure event segment, together with coordination of all conference and events at the resort

Other key responsibilities include:

• Ensure all Conference and Events inquiries are handled within operating procedures and always meet the required turnaround parameters.
• Direct any new conference business enquiries to the centralised Sales Manager.
• To quote and drive repeat leisure business at the Resort.
• Be informed on sales leads and business quoted to ensure business is maximized. At all times, understand the client’s needs whilst optimising hotel revenue through strategic yield management and upselling of resort facilities or services.
• End to end Event Planning & Follow Up
• Act as the primary point of contact for detailed meeting/event planning, working closely with Operations, F&B management, Revenue & Sales, Rooms Division operation, Finance and external suppliers.
• Assist in the develop and implementation of short and long term sales strategies for the business, to ensure revenue and room night goals are achieved, sales strategies are set, tactical plans are created and implemented, and results are monitored and achieved. 
• Support M&E sales and marketing initiatives for the resort with site inspections, client entertainment, familiarisations, and other events that form part of the sales and marketing plan.
• Use guest insight to assist in developing new products and services to deliver guest engagement.

Are you ready for a new WHS career opportunity? An Injury Management position has become available within the Safety department of ALDI Stores, based in Derrimut. This is a Permanent Full-Time opportunity.

This role is integral to the efficient operation of the ALDI Safety Department. This is a rewarding role with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy, managing multiple stakeholders, and working in a fast-paced environment.

What does the role look like?

• Assist in the management of work-related injuries which includes the use of WHS IT systems
• Coordinate and provide guidance on Injury Management activities
• Liaise, consult, and meet with relevant stakeholders, e.g.: injured workers, treating practitioners, insurer, and regulator where applicable
• Actively manage your area of responsibility by using initiative, suggesting ways of improving systems for greater efficiency
• Provide implementation support for projects and managing ongoing business as usual (BAU)
• Ensure ALDI is compliant with all current legislative obligations and engaging in best practice injury management.
