SIXT Australia is on the lookout for a Fleet Optimisation Manager to join our team on a permanent full time basis.

The role offers the flexibility to work from home and across our Sydney CBD and/or Olympic Park offices as agreed and required for the role. This role can also be based remotely at any of our offices.

The Fleet Optimisation Manager is responsible for the management of the SIXT Australia fleet to deliver and exceed set business targets. This role contributes to the optimum utilisation of the fleet and assists key stakeholders in identifying opportunities to vary fleet mix and numbers to meet business requirements. The Fleet Optimisation Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the fleet’s operational readiness, cost efficiency and alignment with business objectives.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Making fleet recommendations to stakeholders based on apparent trends with regard to utilisation and pricing  
• Monitoring and controlling floating fleet issues; repatriation of fleet back to site locations where necessary to maximise utilisation  
• Assisting with the acquisition of fleet and disposal of fleet in line with the national fleet plan  
• Driving rental days and utilization of vehicles through forward planning & repair monitoring  
• Identifying and implementing growth strategies to drive business performance
• Conducting analysis and reports to ensure business targets are being met and outlined

The Internal Communications Specialist at GYG will play a key role in helping to keep our stakeholders – including our crew, franchisees, and Hola Central staff well informed and connected. This role will assist in implementing our communications strategy, ensuring that the right information reaches the right people at the right time. They will collaborate with various departments to facilitate effective and meaningful communication throughout GYG.

What you can expect in the role:

• Assist in drafting, editing, and proofreading internal communications such as newsletters, announcements and updates.
• Collaborate with operations team to ensure all communications are clear, actionable, and aligned with organisational goals.
• Manage and regularly update content on internal communication platforms.
• Ensure all communications are clear, engaging, and distributed through appropriate channels.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure effective communication across functions.
• Compile reports on the effectiveness of communication strategies, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure all internal communication materials adhere to company brandings, tone of voice and style guidelines.
• Provide project support to internal communications team.
• Assist in the development and communication of internal processes, procedures, and guidelines to ensure operational efficiency and support a seamless guest experience.

You will enjoy this role if you have:

• Experience in communications, public relations or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of internal communication best practice.
• Experience or familiarity with internal communication tools and platforms is a plus.
• Some experience or familiarity with graphic design software (e.g canva, adobe, creative suite).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to draft clear and engaging content.

What you’ll do:

As Revenue Manager, you will build revenue strategies to maximise hotel performance and returns.  In this role you will report directly to the General Manager whilst working closely with hotel Department Leaders and external stakeholders/owners.  

In this role you will

• Drive long term strategic planning and short term tactics to increase and maximise the hotel's overall revenue, profit and improve key performance indicator performance. 
• Be a confident leader that communicates with impact and has an eye for detail
• Have strong analytical and proactive problem solving skills including analysing data and market trends, being proactively inquisitive and interpreting the data to develop and implement nimble SMART strategies to maximise revenue opportunities
• Have a strong understanding of market segments, yield management techniques, supply/demand and  complex pricing relationship including keeping a constant pulse on the market demand drivers and proactively adapting quickly to maximise revenue
• Proactively manage the distribution of Hotel inventory to ensure maximum occupancy of the hotel by maintaining accurate rooms inventory control systems.
• Generate 13 month forecasting, online pricing/planning/availability.
• Prepare Budgets & Business Plans, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reporting, attend Owners Review Meetings
• Drive proactive rate strategy development and implementation to achieve the properties goals
• Lead the fortnightly RevMax meetings detailing hotel revenue strategies and leading the departments to be accountable for their contribution to the revenue
