Assistant Manager (Retail Supervisor)

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Assistant Manager to join our team and help drive the success and growth of our store.
• Location: Capel WA 6271
• Position Type: Permanent, full-time
• Salary: $75,000 to $80,000 annually plus super
Responsibilities:
• Supervise the grocery and produce staff
• Provide exceptional customer service, emphasizing product quality and freshness
• Organize staff schedules, delegate responsibilities, and coordinate team tasks
• Conduct interviews to hire new team members, and manage their initial training
• Assist staff in managing customer service challenges, returns, and product inquiries
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular inventory checks, and ensure availability of quality products
• Ensure accurate pricing and maintain displays for groceries and fresh produce
• Ensure a well-stocked and highly visible selection of fresh items
• Implement workplace health and safety standards (OHS)
• Support the Store Manager to achieve the store objectives.
Requirements:
• An AQF Certificate II or higher in Retail, Management, Leadership, Business, or Commerce or one year of related, full-time experience
• A positive, reliable, and customer-focused attitude with proven leadership skills
• Must have full working rights in Australia
