The Role

The position of the Network Strategy Manager – Fleet is responsible for leading the development of strategic plans and delivery roadmaps for TGE Fleet operations and broader TGE Network operational strategies.

This role will drive the strategy and capital planning processes to ensure that the fleet is standardised, working optimally, maximising organisational efficiencies and service performance.
 

Beyond Fleet strategy, this position will be required lead on the design and delivery of operational transformation projects and capability to execute the broader network operations strategy.  A key responsibility of this role is to maximise network standardisation and optimisation to deliver improvement in network performance, while ensuring the Network is ready to meet the future needs of the business and the customers we serve.
 

Exercising excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills across Functional and Divisional operational teams within the TGE network, this position is pivotal to enabling long term operational readiness, driving operational efficiencies and customer service delivery outcomes.
 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Lead a small team to develop and deliver the overall network fleet strategy for operations, including the development and implementation of a long term plan, in line with customer requirements and broader TGE network development strategy (network, fleet, site).

• Strategic development of the fleet model and associated capital planning processes, ensuring the fleet model it is aligned to the organisational objectives, meet the future needs of the business and the markets it serves.

• Develop fleet and other network design blueprints and project plans to ensure Network standardisation objectives are met.

• Conduct network capacity modelling on a rolling 3 – 5 year timeframe, actively managing the Network Footprint and associated Fleet strategy and Assets to support growth and efficiency

• Coordinate with divisional operations managers on supply forecast inputs, identifying service risks and opportunities (latent capacity)

• Prepare Strategy and capital planning presentation content for operations & communication.

• Support operations team education on Network capability, including transformation project scopes and deliverables, developing fit for purpose tools (process & systems)

• Own, govern and maintain the data integrity of all key design inputs to the Network strategy Fleet plan and broader Network strategy as required.

• In conjunction with the NOC Planning team, conduct scenario analysis for the supply plan and re-forecasting as required to facilitate operational decision-making and identification of transformation project priorities

• Work in a manner that is not harmful to one’s own health and safety and the health and safety of others

• Lead bid responses ensuring high quality, professional tender responses that are delivered on time, are customer focused and comply with TGE policies and address the customer specifications and objectives.

We are opening a new training centre in Sydney in 2024, as a part of this we are looking for an experienced manager to take on the position of Maintenance Technical Manager. An opportunity is available within an SGS client's Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Team for a skilled safety professional who can work independently. This position involves working at the Client's offices on a full time permanent basis.  

You will have the opportunity to work independently, help develop and implement a local health and safety program and have a big impact directly on the employees you support.

• Prioritize work based on team objectives.
• Complete projects with little need for oversight.

Some other aspects of the role:

• Standard business hours, onsite at SGS's client site.
• You will be the primary OHS support for the SGS client's office.
• The team has weekly meetings to prioritize what will be done for the week. 
• Work comes from various sources:  new or updated activities from SGS's client work teams, injury investigations, maintaining OHS tools and systems.
• You will have the opportunity to develop working relationships with many SGS's client internal customer teams and various stakeholders in Facilities, HR, and Security.  This may mean participating in meetings or having informal small group or 1-on-1 discussions to understand requirements and deliver required safety assessment.

The Role:

Exceptional opportunity for an experienced Program Manager to join our Health business unit. This role is to ensure that projects are being initiated, delivered, measured, closed, and handed over to support in a structured and repeatable process. As a strong leader with excellent negotiation and influencing capabilities, you will be leading the Project Mangers as well as planning, executing, monitoring, controlling, and closing medium to large projects.

You will also have the flexibility to travel.

This role is preferred to be Sydney based, however Melbourne is also an option.

Key responsibilities:

· Review, identify and continue to drive different projects plan.

·  5+ years of Project Management role experience in delivering well-formed projects.

·  Prince 2, MPS Certification.

·  Demonstrable ability to identify and clearly define specific roles, responsibilities and skills required for projects.

·  3+ years of project scheduling using a recognised tool, e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera.

·  Developing financial plans and forecasts. Monitoring and managing expenditure and examine areas where budgets and expenditure exceed agreed tolerances.

·  Proven ability to engage with customers & drive best outcomes.

·  Extensive experience of successfully managing and delivering IT projects.

·  Strong leadership and influencing capabilities.
