Based in Queanbeyan we provide an extensive range of Earthmoving Dry Hire machinery in Canberra and surrounding areas, including South Coast, Snowy Mountains and Western NSW.

We support builders, plumbers, landscapers, councils, government, civil contractors, and earthmoving companies with reliable, high-performance earthmoving equipment.

We require an operations coordinator that will help us in exceeding our client expectations by delivering great customer service and ensuring that all customer orders are completed and ready in the required time frame.

The candidate will be responsible for performing the day-to-day activities to assure great customer relationships, expedite the delivery of customer orders, breakdowns & clients request with operating machines & attachments. 

Responsibilities:

• Coordinating the operations team - mechanics, delivery drivers & yard team 
• Scheduling services on all equipment 
• Co-ordinating equipment maintenance & repairs with mechanical team
• Organising on site repairs & breakdowns
• Ensure deliveries & collections are keeping to schedules 
• Checking equipment is going through all the returns & ready for rental procedures.
• Assist with office staff booking in machines, answering phone calls & preparing rental agreements & off hires
• Costing damage to equipment & advising client of damage & costs for repairs 
• Ordering parts for scheduled servicing, breakdowns & repairs

• Good communication skills with the ability to work effectively across functional groups
• Excellent planning and organising skills 
• Resilient and adaptable with the ability to be decisive and work constructively under pressure

• Work hours 6.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Role Overview:

As a Graduate Human Resources Officer, you will play a fundamental role in supporting various HR functions within The Yiros Shop. Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be an integral part of the team, contributing to the implementation of HR policies and practices while gaining hands-on experience across multiple HR disciplines.

Your Key Responsibilities but not limited to the following:

• HR Administration: Support HR administrative tasks such as maintaining employee records, managing databases, and assisting in the preparation of HR documents, contracts, and reports.
• Employee Relations: Contribute to fostering positive employee relations by handling inquiries, addressing basic HR-related queries, and assisting in the resolution of employee concerns while learning to navigate HR policies and procedures.
• HR Projects: Collaborate with the various Head Office departments on various projects, gaining exposure to areas such as performance management, employee engagement initiatives, HR compliance and identifying process and system improvements.
• Onboarding and Training: Supporting the Recruitment team during the onboarding process for new employees, preparing orientation materials, conducting induction sessions, and coordinating training activities to ensure a smooth transition into the business.
• Work Place Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure WHS information is updated and available in restaurants. Assisting with WHS restaurant audits 

Elements of Byron is an award-winning Beach front resort, nestled on 50 acres of absolute beach front paradise in Byron Bay. The role of Recruitment Resourcer will support our Talent and Culture Manager who is responsible for Recruitment, Culture and Training at the resort.

This is a job share role (3 days week, Tues/Wed/Thu) where you will work closely with our current Recruitment Resourcer who works two days a week (Mon/Fri).

You will be responsible for ensuring that effective candidate management and communication is maintained with all applicants who are applying for roles at the resort. There is a high volume of candidate calls, email correspondence and diary management, so your ability to manage multiple tasks will see you excel.

This role would suit someone who is extremely organised, has high attention to detail, can juggle multiple tasks and prioritise, while remaining cool under pressure. You will be available to work three days a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Phone screening and shortlisting of candidates using our candidate management system (Workable)
• Adding new employee details to Humanforce and following up on their onboarding progress
• Monitor and respond to telephone and email queries regarding interviews or start date information
• Diary management of Culture Officers inbox and calendar
• Assisting with the coordinating of recruitment activities including scheduling interviews, performing reference checks, and managing correspondence during the recruitment process
• Schedule learning and development training sessions and update the training calendar
• Co-ordinate administration processes for probation reviews, performance development reviews, employee visas, RSA’s, Drivers Licences, and other licence renewals as required
• Other ad hoc administration assistance as required

• Previous experience in a similar support role
• An HR Qualification would be highly regarded but is not essential
• Well presented with excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Well organised with strong attention to detail
• Remain calm, patient and organised in high volume work situations
• Results oriented and ‘can do’ positive attitude
• High level administration and organizational skills
• Display a high energy level
• Intermediate to advanced skill level - Microsoft Office Suite
