We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join AVANI Central Melbourne Residences as our Night Guest Service Agent on a full time basis. 

Key Responsibilities include:

• Conduct guest arrivals and departures
• Confidently provide personalised, proactive guest service

Rentokil Initial has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Customer Service Consultant to join our team based in Adelaide on a Permanent full-time basis.

This role reports directly to the Customer Service Team Lead and will see you utilise your awesome Customer Service experience to build customer relationships, work with technicians on scheduling and make outgoing calls to customers to promote our products and services.

Core responsibilities in the role include:

• Keeping the customer at the centre of your thinking by taking responsibility and ownership for customer satisfaction, loyalty and responding to customer queries related to their bookings in an effective manner.
• Proactively making outbound calls to our existing customers to promote our products and services
• Demonstrate experience in customer service, including the ability to display empathy and active listening skills. Provide a high level of customer service and act as the first point of contact for customer enquiries via phone and email.
• A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy while scheduling appointments for residential customers
• Converting incoming enquiries into sales opportunities using excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal skills
• Ability to work to deadlines, KPI's and meet sales targets while working as a team and independently.
• Ability to multi-task and attend to ad-hoc jobs as and when they arise
• Documentation of all relevant information on the CRM to provide clear instruction for field technicians.
• Maintaining our databases by ensuring customer records and details are up to date while ensuring compliance.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Experience working in call centre (essential)
• Demonstrated experience in phone sales and converting enquiries into sales
• Capable of working with multiple web-based data-bases and email programs. 
• Proficient with communicating verbally and electronically
• Able to work calmly under pressure while multitasking.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment to support fellow colleagues.
• Professional, reliable and punctual.
• Accurately enter data into systems.

• Salary $73,150 to $80,000 per year plus superannuation

What you will be doing:

• Supervision, support and training of Reservations Team Members to ensure standards and procedures are observed to provide a consistent, high level of service for all guest contact
• Implementing and reviewing revenue strategies, including rate and inventory management.
• Work closely with property Director of Revenue, Director of Conference and Events, Director of Sales and Marketing and regional teams on all aspects of revenue maximization across all distribution channels in Rooms, Conferencing and Food and Beverage.
• Ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate bookings at the hotel, attempting to fulfil client requests and special needs where possible
• Directing and overseeing both FIT and Groups reservations activities, ensuring all guests details are entered correctly and guests' privacy are protected
• Developing and reviewing policies, programs and procedures concerning customer relations and goods and services provided
• Ensuring operational efficiency within Reservation and Front Office team
• Providing direction and feedback to team members and assisting with recruitment
• Managing, motivating and developing staff providing customer services
• Planning and implementing after-sales services to follow up customer satisfaction, ensure performance of goods purchased, and modify and improve services provided
• Liaising with other organisational units, service agents and customers to identify and respond to customer expectations
