What Does This Role Entail? 

The Helpdesk Support Specialist is the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance. This role involves providing support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring efficient resolution and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should have strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and a customer-centric approach.

Your Responsibilities  

User Support

• Respond to user inquiries via phone, email, or helpdesk ticketing system.
• Provide first-level support by diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and basic software installations.
• Guide users through step-by-step solutions for common technical issues.
• Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff or specialized support teams as necessary.

Incident Management

• Log and track all incoming support requests in the helpdesk system.
• Prioritize and categorize issues based on severity and impact.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents according to established SLAs (Service Level Agreements).

Technical Troubleshooting

• Diagnose and resolve hardware issues related to desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues and VPN access.
• Support users with software-related issues, including operating systems, productivity tools, and specific applications used by the company.
• Maintain and update technical documentation and user guides.

System Maintenance and Monitoring

• Perform routine checks on systems and applications to ensure they are functioning correctly.
• Assist in deploying software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
• Monitor system alerts and respond to potential issues proactively.
• Assist with setting up and configuring new hardware and software for end-users.

User Education

• Provide end-user training on common IT tools and best practices.
• Develop and distribute knowledge base articles, FAQs, and other self-help resources.
• Promote cybersecurity awareness and best practices among users.

Reporting and Documentation

•  Maintain detailed records of all support requests and resolutions.
• Identify recurring issues and report them to the Helpdesk Manager for further investigation.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of helpdesk processes and procedures.

Key Expectations 

Required:  

• 2-4 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
• Experience with helpdesk ticketing systems and remote support tools.
• Understanding of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and common software applications Microsoft 365 EcoSystem.

Preferred:  

• Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of AWS Services an advantage.  

• SQL and Data Analysis: Proficiency in SQL, excel, Power BI and other data analysis tools.  

• Industry Experience: 1-2 years previous experience in a similar role within a tech or SaaS company.  
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on user satisfaction.
• Basic knowledge of networking concepts (e.g., IP, DNS, DHCP) and common IT infrastructure.

Educational Background:  

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate’s Degree in Information Technology or related field is a plus.

About the role

The role of the Customer Success Specialist is to engage, empower, and excite our community of crimefighters. As a Customer Success Specialist, your primary responsibility is to ensure both retailers and police, who make up our crimefighter community, have great experiences and achieve real crime reduction outcomes from using our platform.

Through being deeply tactical and using relational engagement you’ll empower our Auror user community to help them derive value from the platform. You do this by building strong relationships with Loss Prevention teams and Loss Prevention leaders, understanding the value Auror can bring to our customers. You will be embedding Auror across stores in Australia’s largest retailers, telling stories through insights and outcomes,  and ensuring they are achieving real outcomes and success in line with the success plan. 

Your responsibilities

• Building and nurturing relationships with store teams and Loss Prevention leaders, partnering with them to support their team's reporting, use and overall success of Auror
• Proactively identifying areas of opportunity to ensure our customers are engaged with Auror, contributing to the creation of engagement plans, ultimately helping them reduce crime and increase safety in their stores
• Reviewing customer usage in the platform, understanding how they are utilising the platform, surfacing wins & outcomes, and then effectively communicating this back to the customer to drive meaningful outcomes
• Training and presenting to large groups of users, and stakeholders remotely or in-person

Your Role & Team

Super exciting times for us here at CreditorWatch as we continue to scale our awesome CX team – with that comes a newly created Customer Success Specialist role. This roles sits within our Customer Experience Group and is the driving force behind CreditorWatch, connecting our clients to the heart of our organisation.

This is a true Customer Success role where you’ll be focusing on identifying, supporting and delivering engaging customer experiences across CreditorWatch’s product suite. It’s a phone based retention and acquisition role – including and not limited to onboarding new clients, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities for existing clients and providing adoption and product utilisation support. As a Customer Success Specialist (Corporates), you will be responsible for delivering the best customer experience for our corporate clients. There is potential to grow with the business, with an attractive bonus package that is aligned to your personal performance and company success.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise engagement of corporate clients and their employees with our service. Lead client success initiatives to maximise subscription renewals and drive new business and upsell revenue opportunities. Responsibilities

• Assist new corporate clients with the onboarding and launch of our service across their organisation
• Build strong relationships with our corporate clients, respond to their requests and provide support across phone and email channels
• Implement account management initiatives at scale to maximise customer satisfaction, retention, renewal, and new business/upsell revenue opportunities
• Assess clients’ current level of engagement and help clients extract greater value and engagement with our service
• Proactively monitor client health and create/implement risk mitigation initiatives where necessary
• Communicate client needs and feedback back to management and the relevant teams, and suggest potential solutions
• Identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to address these areas effectively
• Meet client success targets and KPIs

• A positive can-do attitude and a passion for what WHEREFIT is trying to achieve
• 1+ year/s experience in client success or account management roles (preferably B2B SaaS) across phone and email channels
• Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills
• Strong team player with the ability to collaborate with management and cross-functional teams
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic culture and perform under pressure
• An interest in fitness, health and wellbeing is an advantage but is not required
• Nice-to-have: experience working in a start-up environment

What’s the day to day like?  

• Be the main point of contact for customers on a daily basis by solving customer queries through Zendesk tickets, phone calls and other channels as necessary.
• Dispatch daily orders, ensuring successful delivery and keeping customers up to date
• Address any issues from customers and oversee day to day operations across the department such as organising returns and refunds and payment cancellations. 
• Liaising with freight companies to ensure deliveries are met and keeping customers informed along the way
• Aim to delight and achieve above industry standard NPS and CSAT scores
• Strive for greater efficiency across all customer support processes including identifying processes for improvement and implementing automations where necessary

Overview of the role

When we say customer-centricity, we actually mean it. We truly care about our customers and in order for you to succeed in this role, we need you to really care about them too. Being a customer-centric company means that you are our port-of-call for all customer feedback which is essential when we want to be one of the best darn digital furniture companies in Australia.

Being an entry level position, we’d love to help train you into becoming the next voice of eva. This is great entry point into a start up, where you'll learn skills such as liaising with operations, learning from the product team, or providing important feedback to marketing. All we need from you is the right mindset to learn quickly, think out of the box and flourish in a role that’s immensely rewarding. Plus we’re a pretty cool bunch of people.

• Experience in ecommerce, logistics or retail consumer goods settings
• Are tech-savvy and have experience using and optimising Zendesk and Monday
• An ability to multitask like a task conquering octopus
• Organisational skills that would make Marie Kondo jealous. 
• Calm under pressure and can think on your feet when tackling problems head-on. You don’t need to always have the answers, but you know where to find them.
• Find yourself naturally building relationships with the barista at your local coffee shop.
• Availability to work a set roster which includes one weekend day 
• You’re data and metrics-driven, you’re naturally inquisitive about what the insights tell us and use this to inform decisions. 
• Ability to work relatively unsupervised
