BIO Employment Services Pty Ltd, hiring for the new sea side DOC Pizza and Mozzarella Bar St Kilda, a renown and reputable Italian restaurant, is seeking a dynamic Cook, with experience in Italian cuisine to join the team. With ambient indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant delivers authentic Italian cuisine and experience.
Working in a well-established kitchen, your responsibilities will include:· Preparing, seasoning, and cooking food
· Preparing food to meet special dietary requirements
· Portioning food, placing it on plates, and adding sauces and garnishes
· Ensuring quality of ingredients and dishes
· Adhering to health regulations when managing food
· Contributing to menu planning as required
The ideal candidate will present with:
· Relevant Certificate III or IV qualification. At least 2 years full time employment in a similar role
· Ability and experience working autonomously in a fast-paced commercial kitchen
· Passionate and experience with Italian cuisine
· Ability to deliver high quality meals
· Fully conversant with Health & Safety regulations
Flexibility to work split shifts, including evenings and weekends.
