We are now looking for a Human Factors Engineer to join our highly skilled, Engineering team .
You will apply knowledge of human capabilities and limitations to the design, operation and maintenance of technological systems delivered to our Rollingstock projects. The Human Factors Engineer will provide expert advice on human factors in support of the engineering safety and system assurance disciplines. You will also ensure that effective identification of human factors risks and issues has occurred, as well as ensuring appropriate solutions to these risks and issues have been implemented across the life cycle of the project, from the design to construction, commissioning, and transition into operations to the satisfaction of clients and regulatory requirements . You will be accountable for:
Provide subject matter expertise in human factors engineering, and human-centred design and interfaces within the Queensland Train Manufacturing Program,
