About the Role
We're currently seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team. The role is responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. Where no site works are scheduled, effectively assemble, and install all glazing products in line with the GCM’s work schedule program.
About You
The successful candidates will ideally possess the following attributes:
Relevant trade certificate
Proven work experience as a carpenter or working with carpentry materials
Strong understanding of wood properties and other carpentry materials.
Proficient in using various equipment and tools.
Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods.
Ability to read technical documents, drawings, sketches and building specifications.
Capable of manual handling glass and glazed products.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Current C class driver’s license (highly desirable).
