Operate and Assist Hanson is one of Australia's leading suppliers of heavy building materials to the construction industry. We produce aggregates, including crushed rock, sand, gravel and road base from a number of locations across Australia. We are currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Quarry Operator to join the team at our Hobart Quarry in Tasmania . Whilst experience in quarrying and the operation of heavy machinery is preferred, training will be provided to successful candidates. These are full time positions with overtime and weekend work according to business needs. In your new role with us, you will:
Carry out day to day operation and maintenance of various vehicles, plant, and equipment
Operate a Front-End Loader and Excavator, as well as Moxy, Watercart, Bobcat, Skid Steer
Perform general labour activities
