Transactional Services Officer

The role of the Transactional Services Officer will be to carry out the duties and responsibilities associated with the transactional team, accounts payable, and EOM completion. This will include the liaison with creditors on a daily/weekly basis and making necessary arrangements to pay NRMA Parks & Resorts accounts.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Input of invoices into the CAAPS system.
  • Ensure invoices comply with company purchasing policy.
  • Receipting of invoices against approved Purchase Orders.
  • Setup payment batches in accordance with agreed supplier payment terms.
  • General ledger coding and account reconciliations.
  • Attend to supplier queries.
  • Bank Audits
  • Supplier Statement reconciliation

What you will bring:

  • 2-3 years’ experience in an accounts payable or receivable role;
  • Certificate IV in Accounting, desirable however not essential.
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively, both verbally and in writing;
  • Excellent skills in customer relations;
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
  • Basic to intermediate skills in Sage 300 ERP Accounting System or similar;
  • Sound typing skills (approx. 40wpm, 98% accuracy);
  • Sound organisational and time management skills;
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
