What you will do:
Work closely alongside the Cafe team, Park Manager and Assistant Manager to represent the core values of the NRMA in terms of professionalism, cleanliness and guest experience. Our very own Cafe, is located onsite, and is open for trade to both guests and the public.
This is casual position, with a minimum of at least 15 hours per week, across, weekends, evenings and holiday periods. You will:
- Ensure all aspects of food preparation, cooking and presenting of dishes are according to company guidelines and customer preferences
- Liaise with, food service staff and management regarding customers order and general service of kitchen operations
- Maintain a safe and hygienic working environment, to include proper storage of food, equipment, utensils and implements
- Daily temperature checks of fridges, freezers, storage areas, deliveries and recording assessment where necessary
- Cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting all kitchen areas in accordance with daily cleaning
What you will bring:
- Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or club kitchen
- Certificate in commercial cookery
- A working understanding of 'Food Safety' principles and workplace health and safety
- Possess highly effective verbal communication skills
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Happy to work as part of a team and chip in to get to get the job done right!
