Duties:
As a Senior Computer Networks & Systems Engineer at samurAI BI, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and security of our IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing system architecture, network administration, and security measures. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving our technology strategy and delivering reliable and efficient systems:
Oversee and maintain database security, including continuous monitoring and control of database access, as well as the assignment of permissions to application owners.
Lead comprehensive audits for manufacturing and management processes, ensuring adherence to established standards and regulations.
Conduct in-depth analysis of computer architecture, networking, virtualization, storage, configuration, and computer systems.
Evaluate and provide recommendations for the advancement of infrastructure and system processes.
Develop and execute strategic plans to meet specific system requirements effectively.
Administer Windows Active Directory, including schema management and implementation of group policies.
Implement robust security measures such as Firewall, VPN, and threat management to safeguard systems and data.
Assess and propose enhancements for network operations, encompassing integrated hardware, software, communications, and operating systems.
Perform regular configuration backups, monitor configuration changes, and track user activities across various network operations.
Identify and resolve network issues, offering effective solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics & Telecommunications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience and Skills
Proficiency with Power BI reporting
Proficiency with Aconex, Oracle PrimeVeraP6 tools
Minimum 5-7 years of experience in systems engineering or a related field.
Strong knowledge of Windows server administration, network infrastructure, and security best practices.
Experience with virtualization technologies
Certifications in Oracle Document Controller is desired
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
