Overview: Our large Federal Government client has a requirement for a Data Manager (level 5) to provide project, data, operational and strategic cyber security, digital forensics, data management and system administration subject matter expertise for IT IS activities over the term, with specific emphasis on defensibility and integrity of IT IS capability and data holdings. Major Responsibilities:
Assess data integrity from multiple sources and provide advice on the transformation or capture of data from one format/medium to another.
Maintain and implement information handling procedures to enable the availability, integrity and search ability of information through the application of formal data and metadata structures and protection measures.
Understand and communicate relevant data sharing legislation, guidelines and organisational procedures to support the wide spectrum of potential uses for unit data.
