Join our Education vertical and our Engineering Team as Technical Front-End Lead in Melbourne to make a real impact every day. This is a senior role that requires exceptional programming skills, ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, product managers, designers, and other technology leaders.
Reporting into Head of Engineering you will help us you’ll help us develop our product that allows education services to automate administration, streamline their financials and reporting, digitise attendance and bookings, record learning observations, and communicate with parents in real-time. Some of the other responsibilities include:
- Develop, and maintain user interfaces using ReactJs, Typescript, and Node.
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, other technical leads, and designers to create a seamless user experience.
- Ensure tech feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to industry best practices and coding standards
- Help establish and mature a design system so that all the Education products can reuse frontend components.
- Identify and implement improvements to frontend architecture and processes
- Provide guidance and mentorship to other Engineers and evangelise best practices.
Location: In this position, you can work from home 100% (in Melbourne)
