Eco Playscapes Eco Playscapes are seeking a talented and passionate Industrial Designer to join our team. You will possess a keen eye for detail, a strong sense of aesthetics and the technical skills to bring our innovative concepts to life. As an Industrial Designer, you will work closely with the design, marketing, and manufacturing teams to create products that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-friendly. Benefits Full-time, 38 hours per week The position will be based at Southport, Gold Coast, but the incumbent may be required to travel Australia-wide for clients. $70,000 - $80,000 per annum + superannuation (commensurate with experience). Task & Responsibilities Conceptualize and develop innovative product designs from initial idea to final product. Create detailed sketches, 3D models, and prototypes to communicate design concepts. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and alignment with project goals. Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions. Stay up to date with industry trends and materials. Present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval. Iterate on designs based on feedback and testing results to achieve the optimal user experience. Qualification & Experience Bachelor’s degree in industrial design or a related field. 3+ years of experience in industrial design or a related role. Proficiency in 3D modelling software such as SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar. Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Excellent sketching and prototyping skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and ergonomics. Creative problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
