Mangrove Resort Hotel is looking for a Sous Chef to join their team based in Broome, WA. As sous chef, you are required to operate and maintain the Hotel’s kitchens in accordance with the established operating procedures.
Tasks & Duties:
• Ensure that the Hotel’s kitchens produce a high quality food product at all times.
• Anticipate and attend to the guest’s needs and desires immediately.
• Monitor rosters to ensure that all sections and areas within the kitchen are properly staffed.
• Liaise with the Executive Chef with regard to every restaurant and function menu available in the Hotel.
• Assume responsibility for the day to day operation of the kitchens in the absence of the Executive Chef
• Ensure that all standard recipes are followed in all outlets
• Monitor the rotation of stock in all storage facilities
• Comply with the hotel’s standards when producing and dispensing food products
• Comply with all of the established hotel operational policies & procedures
• Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment
Skill and Experience:
Suitable candidates must have relevant training qualifications and at least 3 years of working experience.
Location of work: Broome WA 6725
Salary: From $75,000 to $80,000 per annum
