Olio’s Fine Food is currently seeking an enthusiastic qualified Chef De Partie to join our growing catering family.
Duties and Functions of CDP
BOH internal Operations
• Assist Executive Chef Manage the whole operations of Olio's Fine Food Kitchen under Buenviaje Pty Ltd
• Assist the Chef to Monitor, manage, achieve both labor & food cost budget.
• Achieve all duties, task and priorities delegated by Managers in timely manner.
Contributing effort & Creative Ideas to Developing and restructuring stocks purchasing format including suppliers' negotiation and cost efficiency.
Learning Monitor and track the sales targets and report and adjusting food cost and labor cost to achieve budgetary target.
• Updating the following daily, Finance sheet, checking all the invoice must be up-to date, ensuring all the client follow up are checked, ensuring all the EO are updated in all
• Assisting Exec Chef in managing to be on top of all critical event and ensure the BOH operations are always 100% aware with each events objective and informing staff rostering individuals with any updates.
• Working with Exec Chef to maintain kitchen optimum cleanliness to ensure Olio's Fine Food kitchen is compliance with the health department and local council.
• Encouraging the team to advancing culinary trend beyond national horizon to always be ahead and above competitors' repertoire
• Training, developing high potential candidate for kitchen operations.
BOH External Operations
• Liaising with team to anticipate the needs of customers/event patrons so that their Olio's Catering experience exceeds their expectations.
• Able to lead the team in catering external events whilst building rapport to clients and ensuring the relationship of Olio's are well welded to each client.
• Ability to interact with guest each catering operations both at private and corporate events. Promoting strategical avenues to ensure Olio's Fine Food is Taking a proactive approach to stay above and beyond competitors offering.
• Ability to create a culinary collaboration with another high-profile Chef's both locally and nationally. This is an opportunity to expose both brand and individual progress in culinary helm. Business driven responsibilities
• Work Collaboratively with Senior leadership team to achieve financial goals and able to lead internal team with motivated mindset.
• Developing Seasonal ideas to present to sales to take advantage of client's interest.
• Assist with Olio's Catering expansion into the catering market working closely with Olio's Team events team to drive growth in catering and bespoke events.
The successful candidate will possess:
Hold relevant culinary qualifications and experience
Knowledge of OH&S and food hygiene standards
A passion for food with a commitment to wanting to succeed & advance your career
