On behalf of our client, Voi Voi, we are advertising. Voi Voi is looking for a Head Chef – Pizza & Pasta to join their team based in Bassendean.
The team who has quickly become known for Perth’s best pizzas is opening its second venue - Voi Voi in Bassendean - and is on the hunt for a Head Chef (with pizza skills) to lead the kitchen team.
With a slightly different bent to the IL FALCO offer, Voi Voi will focus on the simplicity of next level pizzas, a handful of fresh pasta dishes and range of antipasti options – not to mention a thoughtful drinks list & great service.
The full- time position, working from Wednesday to Sunday, offers an awesome opportunity for creative development as well as career growth with full support from the Operations Management team.
A passion for simple & tasty food is a must along with a love for the industry, new food trends as well as respecting traditional roots as your role will require to roll out weekly specials and seasonal menu development.
With full pizza making and dough program training provided to the right experienced Head Chef, this is an exciting role to join a fast growing hospitality group.
Heading up a brand new kitchen and Marana oven - your responsibility as Head Chef is to ensure smooth running of day-to-day kitchen operations and service as well as manage our pizza dough program.
What you will do as our Head Chef
• Lead by example with a fun, positive attitude and love for great food
• Ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the kitchen
• Training the kitchen team
• Monitoring and ordering supplies and inventory
• Manage our pizza dough program
• Preparing & cooking pizzas from our menu
• Develop and create new pizza recipes
• Develop seasonal menus and weekly specials
• Maintaining optimal levels of sanitation and safety standards
• EnAdhere to health and safety regulations
• suring cooking stations are sanitised and prepped with necessary tools
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with our small team, awesome customers, legendary suppliers, and vendors
