BABA GHANOUJ PARRAMATTA PTY LTD A highly reputable and established fine dining restaurant based in the heart of Parramatta is looking for anexperienced Chef with a minimum of 3 years relevant hands-on work experience in a busy kitchenenvironment. The role requires a mature and enthusiastic work attitude and should have a commitment forlong-term employment Benefits Salary - $73,150 to $95,000 plus Super, depending on experience Task & Responsibilities As Chef, your duties will include: · Report to the Executive Chef and cooperate with all members of the kitchen brigade · Check deliveries ensuring food is of high quality and that the items match the relevant food order · Follow dish specification, recipes and portion sizes whilst maintaining standards · Ensure mise en place is prepared on time · Organise each meal service period so that it runs efficiently and productively with all items ready beforeservice begins · Develop and submit recipes to the Head Chef in accordance with the authenticity and style of foodand cuisines served in the restaurant · Plan menus under the guidance of the Head Chef · Prepare and cook all food orders with a sense of urgency ·Monitor food preparation and wastage costs control by following efficient preparation methods · Maintain a clean and organised work environment · Through effective rostering, assist the Head Chef in the control of manning Qualification & Experience Essential Criteria Must have relevant certificate or higher OR 3 years of work experience if without Minimum of 3 years work experience in fast-paced kitchen environment Demonstrated skills in handling and preparation of food and various ingredients Able to work unsupervised Ability to work under pressure Preferred but not essential: Owns a vehicle Current driver licence Familiarity with Lebanese cuisine Salary: $73150-95000 Job Publish: 25-07-2024 Job Expire: 24-08-2024 Please click to View more detail / apply .
