Practical experience in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable (Using Oracle) an advantage, or any other accounting software.
Position Responsibilities:
Perform Accounts Payable functions including creating and maintaining all invoices in Oracle, and send to appropriate approvers in accordance with the Delegations and Authorisations manual.
Follow-up invoices which require action and assist with invoice and/or payment queries.
Ensure reasonableness of account coding and any tax implications (i.e. FBT/GST) and that EFT details are current.
Perform payment functions in Commbiz.
Perform the banking and receipting function including printing and distribution of receipting reports.
Perform invoice printing functions.
Perform Petty Cash functions.
Prepare daily cash flow reporting to determine bank balance.
Perform Investments cashflow reconciliation.
Prepare Unpresented Cheques report, Consultants and Hospitality reports.
Assist in monthly cash flow reporting and annual cashflow budget.
Assist with the purchase goods and services in accordance with Delegations and Authorisations Manual, Department of Finance, State Supply Commission requirements
