Our client is looking for a Functional Digital Consultant to join their team in Sydney NSW.
As a Functional Digital Consultant, you will play a key role in driving functional digital transformation initiatives. You will collaborate closely with department stakeholders to understand their business needs, analyze processes, and implement effective solutions that optimize operations and drive business growth. This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, business acumen, project management skills, and functional expertise in any organizational function.
Responsibilities:
Digital Transformation Strategy:
Develop and implement digital transformation strategies aligned with client business objectives.
Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency improvements, and cost savings using digital technologies.
Functional Expertise:
Ability to understand complex functional processes and translate them into effective digital solutions.
Proficiency in taking a comprehensive view of functional operations, identifying interdependencies, and proposing integrated digital solutions that align with organizational objectives.
Conduct detailed analysis of current business processes, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Design and implement process reengineering initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
Experience in conducting process mapping exercises to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement, followed by designing optimized digital workflows.
ERP Implementation:
Lead end-to-end ERP implementation projects, including requirements gathering, system configuration, testing, and training.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of different ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) with existing business processes.
Data Analytics and Business Intelligence:
Utilize data analytics tools to gather insights and inform decision-making processes.
Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track project outcomes.
Change Management:
Facilitate change management processes to ensure successful adoption of new technologies and processes.
Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring they are equipped to leverage new systems and tools effectively.
Stakeholder Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
Communicate project status, milestones, and risks effectively to ensure alignment and transparency.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Master’s degree in Business Administration is preferable
15+ years in-house expertise in specific function/department, with a focus on digital transformation and process optimization.
10+ years expertise in implementing and maintaining different ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc) and SaaS tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Project management certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) is a plus.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and priorities.
Expected salary: $90,000 - $100,000 per year
