Pact’s Dairy & Beverage and Closures packaging divisions manufacture bespoke packaging designed in collaboration with our customers to meet sustainable and commercial packaging requirements. Pact supply PET, rPET, HDPE and rHDPE bottles, closures, and crates for everything from fresh milk and drinking yoghurts to juice, water, and alcohol, in a range that includes the lightest weight milk bottle in the region.
As Divisional Operations Manager, Leading Site Managers across 7 sites in VIC/NSW and WA, you will execute strategies and achieve agreed business goals, living the values of the Pact Group and will be responsible for safety, improving production efficiency and facilitating a lean enterprise culture. Reporting to General Manager, you will drive operational efficiency, and will work closely with the various Plant Managers on day-to-day operations, supporting and executing the business strategy.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- leadership in driving a Zero Harm culture
- Lead the Division via the Site leaders implanting structures and systems to achieve business goals
- Drive continuous improvement and alignment across all Closures, Dairy & Beverage sites nationally through development and delivery of a clear reliability and efficiency improvement strategy.
- Support Project & Site Managers on the implementation of all major projects on time and in budget to ensure successful project implementation.
- Identify relevant Continuous Improvement opportunities and automation projects.
- Ensure that PACT’s performance management policies, processes and procedures are consistently followed and create a culture of accountability and collaboration.
- Develop maintenance strategies to maximise OEE.
- Motivate all key stakeholders to support the Operational Excellence transformation.
- Provide support and expertise to other business functions aligned to CI initiatives and Business projects.
