Role Overview:
The Programmatic Operations Director is responsible for all aspects of Programmatic operations implementation. This involves supporting multiple teams, maintaining best practice implementation for optimisation and campaign set up.
You’ll also be responsible for supporting teams across your account portfolio management, so must be able to identify new opportunities or potential weaknesses/limitations of strategies and communicate this effectively. You will have prior hands-on experience with the major demand side platforms, strong analytical, writing and comprehension skills, and preferably online trafficking experience, with DoubleClick DCM or similar campaign management systems.
Your expertise:
• This position requires a relevant tertiary qualification or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of qualification.
• 2-5 years’ experience working as a trader, ideally in a brand or media agency.
• Hands on proficiency across key industry tools; DV360, The Trade Desk, DCM.
• Extensive knowledge of the RTB and wider programmatic landscape.
• Experience with Adobe Audience Manager is preferred.
• Proficient with MSFT Office suite and digital platforms in general as expected, including use across reporting and data analysis, presentations etc.
• Advanced communication and writing skills – working across the team, within the wider agency, with clients and media owners.
• Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills (knowledge).
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Consistently over-delivering on client objectives.
• The ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; working under pressure and prioritise workload.
• Highly organized and capable of working independently
• Minimum of three years’ proven experience line-managing a moderately sized team of specialists within an agency or content-focused environment.
• · Proven track record in team management and people development with the ability to manage internally, upwards and downwards.
Your responsibilities include:
Own the mid to senior customer relationship to ensure we are aligned with the customer and delivering on their business needs.
• Oversee the build of new and existing Search, Programmatic, Social campaign accounts ensuring a high level of detail is observed and we are aligned to the customer brief.
• Lead and support Account Managers, Executives and/or Coordinators to ensure account deliverables including reporting, optimisation tactics, copy-writing, quality-checks and best practice while we adhere to the strategy set.
• Add a strategic layer to our base-line delivery in-line with the customer business objectives, to go above and beyond their experience of Razorfish.
• Review and add to insights for monthly and quarterly reviews, laddering up to the ‘so-what?’.
• Identify areas for account improvement and feed-back to senior leaders.
• Facilitate meetings and workshops and lead presentations to the customer.
• Discuss and resolve issues with the customer
• All of the above roles require a relevant tertiary qualification with 2 or more years’ experience in a similar role OR a minimum of 5 years relevant work experience in lieu of qualification.
