Job Description: We are currently seeking a licensed plumber to join our team. As a plumber at Absolute Plumbing Australia, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures. Your duties will include:
• Reading blueprints and drawings to understand or plan the layout of plumbing systems.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems, and fixtures.
• Collaborating with contractors, construction workers, electricians, and other professionals on job sites.
• Testing plumbing systems for leaks and other issues.
• Responding to plumbing emergencies promptly and resolving them efficiently.
• Ensuring compliance with plumbing codes and safety standards.
Skills and Qualifications:
• At least three years’ experience as a plumber, in a similar environment.
• Valid plumbing license issued by the Northern Territory or relevant experience.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and drawings.
• Solid understanding of water distribution, leak detection and disposal systems in residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
