Vacvator is a privately owned Australian manufacturer of hydro-vacuum excavation trucks, dry vacuum and jetting equipment.
We are seeking a trade qualified Spray Painter to lead our Spray-Painting team.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Prepare newly manufactured components for painting
- Application of paint to manufactured components
- Batch management/job planning
- Complete jobs in accordance with our processes and procedures
- Maintain tools and equipment
Qualifications & Experience:
- Trade qualification- spray painting
- Previous spray-painting experience
- Understanding of and willingness to abide by all safety practices
Selection Criteria:
- Excellent time management, attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- An ability to communicate clearly both written and verbally
- Be highly motivated and able to work unassisted and unsupervised
- A strong commitment towards a safe work environment
- A high standard of productivity
- A good work ethic, self-motivation and a positive attitude
- Willingness to develop new skills
In conjunction with the above, the successful applicant must have a high level of initiative and a ‘can do’ attitude, be physically fit, well presented.
