Great mechanical knowledge, professional competence and work ethics. Maintaining an updated knowledge of all mechanical advancements, concerns and willingness to continue to learn. Good knowledge and understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems an advantage. Test driving and quality control prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to customers. Report all necessary work, service or repairs and record using in-house databases or reporting systems. Able to read and comprehend and follow workshop procedures. Driven to succeed. Be physically fit as some heavy lifting will be required. must comply with the organisation’s occupational health, safety and welfare policies and procedures Qualification & Experience Relevant trade qualification as a light vehicle mechanic is essential Minimum 1 year experience required in a similar position A strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair The ability to work in a team environment. Current driver’s license valid in Western Australia Annual Salary range is $74,000 - $80,000 plus superannuation. 38 hours per week Monday to Friday. There may be occasional additional hours required payable at overtime rates.
