Benefits Competitive salary Opportunities for career growth Dynamic work environment Task & Responsibilities Fleet Management Solutions: Architect, develop, and enhance fleet management software. Implement features related to vehicle tracking and cycle optimiztion, fuel efficiency, maintenance scheduling, and safety. Utilize Couchbase for robust data storage and retrieval. Present to all levels of stakeholders and management with a demonstrated understanding of Telematics: Familiarity with GPS systems, vehicle tracking, and diagnostics data. Mining Applications: Collaborate with mining engineers to understand operational requirements. Lead client engagement sessions with solution architects and governance teams to capture integration process and requirements. Design software solutions for surface and underground mining processes. Optimize performance for harsh mining environments. OEM Integration: Interface with leading OEMs (Komatsu, Caterpillar, Epiroc, etc.). Integrate OEM-specific APIs, telemetry data, and diagnostics. Ensure seamless communication between our software, hardware, OTM and OEM systems. Ability to collect, process, and analyze large volumes of data to generate actionable insights and reports. Scalability and Reliability: Design for scalability as mining fleets expand. Implement fault-tolerant mechanisms for uninterrupted operations. Monitor system health and address performance bottlenecks. Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures for data protection. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Security: Strong grasp of cybersecurity principles to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry regulations. General Software Engineering Management Capability Knowledge of IoT: Understanding of Internet of Things (IoT) principles and how to connect and manage various devices and sensors within a fleet. Agile Methodologies: Experience with agile development practices and the ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities. Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical issues that may arise during the development process   Qualification & Experience 10 years in field or relevant experience Bachelor’s and preferably master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field. Demonstrated Proficiency in Programming Languages: Knowledge of languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript is essential for backend and frontend development. Database Management: Skills in database design and management, particularly with SQL and NoSQL databases like Couchbase, MongoDB, or DynamoDB. API Development: Experience in creating and managing APIs for system integration and data exchange between different software components. UI/UX Design: Competence in designing intuitive user interfaces and user experiences, especially for real-time monitoring dashboards. Couchbase expertise: Data modeling, N1QL queries, and indexing. Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ for backend development. Experience with mining systems, telematics, or IoT is highly desirable.
