Subicare Early Learning Centre is located in the heart of Subiaco Perth WA, we’ve been providing quality community-based childcare for over 30 years. We are looking to recruit a member of staff who will enjoy joining our fabulous team.
Currently we have a 2 Fulltime Senior Educator – Room Leader positions available, managing either our babies or kindy age rooms.
We have a dedicated team and we are looking for someone who will fit with the team and be able to show initiative and great team work.
We are seeking a confident, caring educator to become part of our team and to
• Have a full understanding of the NQF and its components.
• Ensure that the Centre's policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Be responsible for management of the day-to-day operation of the assigned room, including providing leadership and support to educators and staff within your team in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures
• Preparation, implementation and evaluation of developmentally appropriate programs for individual children or groups
• Ensure that Subicare Early Learning Centre facilitates a play-based learning environment and develops learning programs responsive to children’s ideas, strengths and abilities that inspire independent learners
• Active supervision of children during recreational activities and daily routines
• Work in accordance with food safety regulations
The following requirements are a MUST:
• Previous experience as a Lead Educator essential (3 years minimum)
• Ability to effectively interact, report to and communicate with parents, caregivers, staff and children in a positive, sensitive and respectful manner whilst providing suitable supervision.
• Diploma in Children's Services
• WA Working with Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate
Annual fulltime salary is above award at $70, 385 pa ($35.62 per hour) + superannuation
