Mansae is currently seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team. This role is offered on a full time basis.
Key Responsibility of the role include:
- Providing exceptional food for service
- Directing food preparation and collaborating with the Head Chef
- Overseeing the preparation, cooking and presentation of meals
- Enforcing strict health and hygiene standards in all food storage and preparation areas
- Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
- Responsible to supervise junior chefs or cooks.
- Ability to handle fast paced heavy service
What we are looking for:
- Experience as a CDP in a premium venue
- Strong knife skills and experience in Korean Cuisine
- Min 2 years relevant experience
- A desire to learn and grow
- Hold a trade qualification
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety standards
- Prepared to work flexible hours including weekends, late nights across a 7 day roster
