Our client, an Australian gold producer and developer is currently seeking an Emergency Services Officer to join their Health and Safety Department.
Requirements:
Certificate III in Mines Emergency Response & Rescue and Public Safety ? Fire Fighting;
Certificate IV in Workplace Training & Assessment (Desirable)
Certificate IV in Health Care qualification and Authorised FFW Tester (Desirable);
Experience with Closed Circuit Regenerative Breathing Apparatus ? BG4;
Must have underground medical experience.
Position Duties:
Provide leadership in site emergency preparedness and in emergency response situations;
Perform site inspections and audits as necessary, while also managing stock control of medical equipment and consumables;
Undertake ER training, including BG4, BA, Fire Fighting, Vehicle Extraction, Vertical Rescue, Underground Search, and Rescue; and Medical First Response;
