Our client, located in Toowoomba, QLD 4350 is a specialist trader in soybeans, mungbeans, sunflowers, birdseeds, protein meal and planting seeds in both domestic and international markets.
Full-time 38 hours per week. 24 months of work on offer
5 roles on offer ranging across all operations - no experience required.
Starting pay is $23.46/hour - Level 1 of the Food, Beverage and Tobacco Manufacturing Award 2020, with additional payments/penalties as per the award. Progressing to higher levels is based on satisfactory skill evaluation. Roles start in July 2024.
Applicants must be fit, as the job entails repetitive lifting, movements and standing in an upright position for the entire shift. Potential to upskill and progression opportunities.
A dedicated training team to provide on and off-the-job training
Monday to Friday 5am to 2pm. Flexibility to work these hours is essential.
The role
Whilst working you will adhere to workplace health and safety requirements
Assist as requested in the processing mill
Managing silos- ensuring the flow of product is consistent
Maintaining and cleaning the grading plant
General warehouse duties, moving pallets, cleaning, plastic wrapping pallets
Bagging out 25kg of seed (use of machinaery)
Criteria
Able to perform as a team in a processing manufacturing environment
Strong communication skills, active listening skills
You will be reliable with great work ethic and possess the ability to be flexible in an exceptionally dynamic environment
Critically, you will pride yourself on your safe work standards and be a natural problem-solver
