Qualifications & experience
At least 3 years of full-time, relevant industry experience
Diploma-level qualification or an additional 3 years of relevant experience
Full-time work rights in Australia
Skills in organisation, team management, budgeting, and customer relations
Must have knowledge of Indian cuisine
Experience in 5-star establishments is preferred but not required
Tasks & responsibilities
Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth restaurant functioning
Collaborate with the chef on menu planning and event coordination
Arranging the purchase and pricing of goods according to budget
Maintain high standards for food and service quality - Enforce health and safety regulations
Maintain records of Stock levels and financial transactions
Ensure the restaurant is well-presented and maintained
Hire, train, and manage FOH and BOH staff
Gather customer feedback to improve services
Implement strategies to boost revenue and cut costs
Assist staff with reservations and orders
