What the Role Looks Like:
• Preparation and Baking: Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and other desserts according to established recipes.
• Recipe Development: Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to develop new and innovative recipes.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our high standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
• Inventory Management: Monitor ingredient inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Hygiene and Safety: Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Customer Interaction: Occasionally interact with customers to gather feedback and make recommendations.
What Do You Need to Have?
• Experience: Proven experience as a Pastry Cook with 3 + year’s of experience.
• Skills: Strong baking skills and knowledge of various pastry techniques.
• Creativity: Ability to create visually appealing and delicious pastries and desserts.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail to ensure precision and quality in all baking tasks.
• Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and work efficiently under pressure.
• Communication: Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and interact with customers.
• Education: Culinary degree or relevant certification (preferred but not required).
