Your new role As the Corporate Affairs Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's internal and external communications strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals and promoting a positive image for the company. The position involves handling stakeholders' engagement and government relationships. Primarily based in the Perth office with occasional site or international. Key responsibilities include:
Develop, implement, execute and maintain the communications strategies, plans and processes to achieve the companies' objectives.
Partner with the People department across internal communications engagement and strategies.
Develop and execute the communications and stakeholder management programs.
Responsible for preparing and training employees to support the communications and engagement plans.
Create, generate and maintain communications tools such as website, social media and other relevant platforms that form part of the communication strategy.
Identify, assess and mitigate risks related to communications or stakeholder perception.
Generation of communications content to communicate with the relevant target audiences both internally and externally.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have 8 plus year's experience in a corporate affairs or related role, possessing demonstrated experience in leading an organisation's stakeholder engagement plan.
Experience in managing the relationships of a variety of stakeholders including government, neighbour communities and the media.
Proven experience in the leadership role, being autonomous, leading the initiative and managing projects.
A tertiary degree in related areas.
As an individual, you will be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop long-term plans that align with the business goals whilst being hands-on and work at ground level activities.
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, being a team player, with a high attention to detail to ensure accuracy and consistency with communications.
