Council are seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our team. We are looking for a Plumbing Inspector or Building Surveyor to work within the Building Certification Team undertaking assessment and determination of a wide range of construction certificate, complying development applications, plumbing and drainage related Local Government applications for all classes of buildings.
The Plumbing Inspector is responsible for:
Demonstrated competency or familiarity with the Building Code of Australia
Applying industry legislation, codes and standards including the Building Code of Australia, National Plumbing and Drainage Code and relevant environmental legislation
Understanding the section?s operating environment including the building industry, associated trades and construction
