About the Role:
Found in 1998, South Austral Pty Ltd are holders of wholesalers in Pharmaceutical and Controlled Substance licenses with NSW Health. Our product ranges include:
• Equipment and accessories for the operating theatre, surgical instruments, and devices for a variety of disciplines and dental supplies.
• supply of quality pharmaceuticals.
• Supply of biochemistry, analysers, haematology analysers, blood bank items, serology, and various consumables.
We are looking for a Logistics Manger who will be responsible to manage all logistics and supply chain duties in our warehouse operations in Banksmeadow NSW. The role will be directly reported to the company director.
Duties and Tasks:
• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
• Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, and manufacturers.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Arrange warehouse, catalogue goods, plan routes and process shipments.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyse data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Comply with laws, regulations, and other requirements.
Qualification and Experience Required:
• Bachelor degree in any relevant fields.
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• At least 1 year of work experience in Medical or Pharmaceuticals industry.
• Good knowledge in logistics management.
• Experience with logistics and inventory Management Software.
• Analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication skill
• Work rights in Australia.
