About the Role

As a Director, Services you will have overall responsibility for executing the Group’s services strategy within our Local Government division. You will deliver high value implementation services and solutions that exceed customer expectations. You will be working closely with your divisional Executive Director and Global Services Director.

This is a senior leadership role where you will be leading a team of project and services professionals collaborating with leaders across functions such as Sales, Support, Development, Product and Central Functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans, budgets and coordinates the performance of the division’s support function, to consistently achieve customer satisfaction and operational support targets.
  • Provides robust and predictable forecasts for services revenue and recurrings
  • Leads resource management activities including attainment of utilisation targets, delivering within cost budget, monitoring and evaluating resource skills and requirements to ensure the appropriate structure is in place to deliver business needs
  • Devises and implements scalable strategies and delivery models to drive results around service quality and profitability
  • Works closely with Product Leads to design the service implementation and Go-To-Market of new products and services.

Ideally you will have

  • Extensive operational leadership experience & ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrable commercial judgement and acumen
  • Experience in managing complex teams including remote teams, providing leadership in an environment of ambiguity.
  • Effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in leading a customer-facing business and relationship building with C-level customers
  • Extensive understanding of development lifecycle and delivery.
  • Highly analytical and data driven decision making, comfortable in utilising metrics and tools to inform decision making.
  • Project Management Experience (PRINCE2) & knowledge of project delivery within GovTech (Desirable)
