About the Role: Toyota Material Handling Australia (TMHA) are currently seeking a Field Service Technician to support our  Launceston branch. In this role you will carry out breakdown / repairs / routine maintenance on all types of material handling equipment. Key Duties & Responsibilities: Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance of customer units which includes preventative service and break-downs in a timely manner. Maintain professional level of customer service with all TMHA clients and customers. Ability to maintain accurate records of job sheets, timesheets and any other administrative components. Qualifications, Requirements & Skills: Current Driver's licence. Relevant trade qualification (Forklift Mechanic, Automotive Electrician/Light Vehicle Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle, Plant, Diesel Mechanic). Forklift Licence & LPG Certificate would be an advantage but not essential.  Can Demonstrate: Strong work ethic and self-motivation. Well-developed mechanical aptitude. Good time management skills with the ability to work independently. Good oral and written communication skills. Previous experience in a similar role in an associated industry. (desirable) Willingness to participate in training programs to increase your product knowledge and understanding of procedures, safe work practices, statutory responsibilities and licensing requirements.
